Triple H is widely regarded as one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. Leon Edwards, on the other hand, currently competes in the UFC Welterweight division, where he is the current Welterweight Champion. The legendary wrestler, and current head of WWE’s creative direction, recently took to Twitter to share his excitement for Leon’s WWE Clash at the Castle.

WWE brought Clash at the Castle to Cardiff today. The event went down on Saturday, September 3rd at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. This marked WWE’s first large stadium event in the United Kingdom since SummerSlam in 1992, and the company’s first UK PPV overall since Insurrextion in 2003.

Triple H took to Twitter to share a photo of himself with Leon Edwards. He mentioned in the caption that he is really thrilled about the WWE Castle. He also backed Leon, calling him a “champ,” and stated that he will be joining Triple H on Saturday evening.

A lot of excitement building for #WWECastle@principalitysta… great to have the champ@Leon_edwardsmma joining us this evening!

YESSS KING.

The legendary finger point.

The baddest man in Cardiff.

Goat.

Still can’t get over that KO win over Usman.

That’s pretty f*cking cool.

The event’s title refers to Cardiff Castle, which is situated nearby Principality Stadium. Obviously, it’s a big deal for the UK to get this event. We’ll keep an eye out for updates. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
