Conor McGregor’s Name Dragged Into Burial Of ‘Bland Face’ WWE Superstar

Conor McGregor remains one of the most well-known MMA fighters in the history of combat sports and his accolades over the years speak for themselves. The Notorious is also known to trash talk often, with varied results. Many have wondered if McGregor’s natural charisma would be a good fit for WWE.

After Johnny Gargano’s WWE exit, fans simply wondered what the future held for Johnny Wrestling. After Triple H became the Creative head of WWE, fans believed Gargano would come back. That is what ended up happening in the end, and fans were simply elated to see it happen.

Gargano finally made his return to WWE on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette compared Gargano to Conor McGregor, stating that he lacks the intensity that McGregor has.

“He’s a small guy with a bland face and no discernible aggression that would intimidate anybody. It’s not Conor McGregor we’re talking about here, it’s Johnny sameface. Yes, you can do the moves but so can a chimpanzee. Where’s the money?

Drew McIntyre also believes Gargano deserves the opportunity he got. It remains to be seen how Gargano and Austin Theory’s feud will be booked in the coming weeks.
