Taylor Swift walked the red carpet at the 2022 VMAs for the first time in three years to celebrate her five nominations. Her admirers are obviously extremely dedicated to her. Taylor’s fans recently speculated that she may re-release “Reputation” soon based on what she said on stage. Her Swifties were right there to crack the code that they believe their leader dropped.

During the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor Swift dropped hints that her album “Reputation” will be re-releasing soon, sending fans into a frenzy. The singer claimed it was “an indication we did something right” when accepting the award for Best Longform Video during Sunday’s awards show. One Twitter user noted the similarity to a lyric from Swift’s “Reputation” song “Call It What You Want,” in which she repeats, “I did one thing right.”

“WE DID SOMETHING RIGHT????? SHES THROWING EASTER EGGS EVERYWHERE,” the viewer wrote alongside a clip from the superstar’s acceptance speech. Although the speculation may sound improbable, Swift is well-known for giving her followers Easter eggs i.e. cryptic hints ahead of big projects. Fans also noticed a remarkable connection between the “Lover” singer’s crystal-covered dress and the one she wore in her “Look What You Made Me Do” music video, which launched the “Reputation” era.

Swift’s Oscar de la Renta gown on Sunday gave the impression that she was coated in hundreds of glittering stones, much as in the 2017 music video when she took a bath in a tub of diamonds. The high neckline of the outfit also mimicked the heavy necklaces she wore in “LWYMMD.” Even her hair was worn in a nearly identical updo, and she wore her signature red lips. A third time is a pattern, while the first two times were just coincidences: When Swift uploaded a video on TikTok using a very specific soundtrack, fans were certain they had figured out the secret.

The singer used Blackpink’s song “Pink Venom” in the short clip to flaunt her sparkly ensemble. Swifties think “Venom” was a reference to the snake imagery she used in the “Look What You Made Me Do” song video and the stage set she used for her “Reputation” stadium tour. “EVERYTHING SCREAMS REPUTATION,” one fan tweeted alongside screenshots of the apparent evidence.

Swift won Video of the Year and Best Direction for her “All Too Well” short film, which was also nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Editing. Swifties must be in a state of ecstasy at this moment. To get the latest news, Keep an eye on Thirsty.
