Even Cardi B came after Lizzo’s haters, who never stopped insulting how she looks. Lizzo even became very depressed because of all the hate, as she just wanted people to accept her.
Regardless, Lizzo has gained more confidence in herself now, and she is never afraid to show it off either. Lizzo also fired back at comedian Aries Spears during her 2022 MTV Video Music Awards appearance on Sunday. When accepting her award in the Video For Good category for “About Damn Time,” she seemingly hit back at Spears.
“[Your vote] means everything to make a change in this country,” she said. “So, remember when you’re voting for your favorite artists, vote to change some of these laws that are oppressing us. Now, to the bitches that got something to say about me in the press … I’m not gonna say nothing! Why don’t you clap back? Because bitch, I’m winning.”
Lizzo has a lot to be thankful for in her life and that includes the love she has for herself. Her star continues to rise as she inspires so many along the way. The Sky is truly the limit for her right now. and that’s what matters.
