Jay-Z is one of the biggest rappers in the world. The legend has released many albums and countless hit singles, as well as a prolific career. JAY-Z has yet another major victory to celebrate after his much-anticipated verse on DJ Khaled’s GOD DID album finally dropped.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Andrew Borrok ruled earlier this week that perfume company Parlux Fragrances must pay the rapper over $6 million in unpaid royalties, including interest. The father of three collaborated with Parlux in 2013 to introduce the “Gold JAY-Z” fragrance, as reported by the NY Post. Alex Spiro, Hov’s attorney, shared the latest information with the outlet.

We’ve been awarded and will be receiving the money as we should.

Just six months after an appeals court decided that the American Gangster artist was entitled to $4.5 million in royalties, it has been reported that the fragrance firm has appealed Borrok’s decision. Prior to that, in November 2021, a jury exonerated the 52-year-old in his case against Parlux after concluding that the recording artist was not responsible for the $67.6M in damages that the business had sought, accusing him of costing the company millions by breaching the terms of their agreement.

But according to the most recent reports, Hov finally prevailed in the protracted legal dispute and will, it appears, soon be earning a substantial sum. Check out the tweet below.
