The MTV VMAs is all set to be broadcast live from the Prudential Center on August 28, making it one of music’s biggest nights of the year. With seven nominations each, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, and Jack Harlow are in the lead, followed by Harry Styles, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd. However, a VMAs is definitely incomplete without some incredibly epic performances.

Eminem and Snoop Dogg are scheduled to perform at the 2022 MTV VMAs. The two rap legends will present a breakthrough performance at the VMAs to celebrate the recently established “Best Metaverse Performance” category. In the spectacular performance inspired by the Otherside metaverse, Snoop and Eminem will transform the stage to perform “From the D 2 The LBC.”

Bad Bunny is also set to make his first appearance at the MTV VMAs since 2019 with a special performance, “made for VMAs.” Besides these, the legendary California rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers will receive the 2022 Global Icon Award.

International sensations BLACKPINK will make their debut U.S. award show with the performance of “Pink Venom.” BLACKPINK’s LISA is the first female solo K-Pop artist and Korean soloist to be nominated for a Moonperson.
