Vanessa Bryant sued Los Angeles County and finally won out big. Legendary basketball player, Kobe Bryant’s wife has fought tooth and nail in the lawsuit that aimed to get her compensation for facing emotional distress.

TMZ reports that Bryant won the lawsuit after the jury gave the verdict in her favor. They determined that the leak of her husband and daughter’s crash photos caused her severe emotional distress, which she will still continue to feel.

The lawsuit was over the pictures of the crash being present on 8 L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies’ cellphones. The pictures are grave in nature, and Vanessa Bryant is afraid of them leaking out even to this day.

Bryant received an award of $16 million from the jury. Meanwhile, Chris Chester, whose wife and daughter passed away in the crash, received an award of $15 million from the jury.

During the trial, it emerged that cops traded the photos during Call of Duty games. Needless to say, this was a taxing experience to undergo.

Vanessa started sobbing after the verdict was announced. The deputies shared these pics not only amongst each other, but with their friends and family. In one case, even strangers got to see the pics. Vanessa Bryant has finally gotten justice, which is a big victory for her.
