Jake Paul rose to prominence on Vine before starring as Dirk Mann in the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark for two seasons. Paul’s boxing career started in August 2018 when he defeated British YouTuber Deji Olatunji via TKO in the fifth round. Paul recently revealed that his next bout will be in October, but his opponent is still anyone’s guess.

The Problem Child was unable to secure a compelling opponent for his last fight, so it was nixed. While he was all set to fight Tommy Fury, it never happened. Similarly, he was supposed to fight Hasim Rahman Jr. and was let down. His wait appears to be over, as he declared on Twitter that he has found an opponent.

Jake Paul logged onto social media and announced to his fans that he will get back in the ring this October. He did not, however, reveal his opponent.

“Opponent inked. October is mine.”

Rick Ross proposed a solution to Paul’s opponent’s problem. Ross said on Instagram that he will throw $10 million on top of the initial compensation to attract big fighters seeking a large payday.

“Since everyone seems to be afraid to fight @jakepaul I’m down to put another 10 million on top to make the right match happen. What fight would you want to see? We talking big s### on the homie podcast so stay tuned.”

Paul wanted a fight as early as October, and it looks like that is happening. Both of his problems appear to have been resolved. It remains to be seen whether it was made possible because of Rick Ross’ contributions. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
