The Rock Has Already Thought About Black Adam Spinoffs

The Rock is involved with DC as he will be portraying the role of Black Adam in DCEU’s upcoming film of the same name. He has already thought ahead when it comes to Black Adam’s spin-offs as well.

The Great One also provided the background for the character Black Adam, where he hinted that Black Adam is even stronger than Superman. In the past few months, a lot of details about the film have been revealed.

Teth-Adam is the ruler of Kahndaq who was bestowed with incredible powers by the wizard Shazam. Despite having the same powers as the hero Shazam, Black Adam chose to use his powers for his own means, which led to his imprisonment until he was reawakened in the modern era and became Shazam’s archenemy.

While speaking with Total Film, The Rock confirmed that the creative team know which characters they are looking at doing spinoffs in order to expand the universe with Black Adam.

“The goal is to really expand the universe, and introduce new characters, and spin-off, and be really strategic about the plan. We have a few ideas of what characters people are really going to respond to in Black Adam, and so we’re already thinking ahead to: ’Let’s start thinking about that movie, and what that movie looks like for them.’”

The Rock also promised that Black Adam is unlike any other of his past roles. Black Adam is slated to release in theaters in October of this year. We’ll have to see how it turns out.
