Bryan Watkins is a famous American drag queen and television personality for his appearance on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Watkins is well known by his stage name “Shannel” for the “Drag Brunch” event in Las Vegas. Shannel was recently accused of stealing $500 to $700 from a woman by the name of Meggy after a performance last weekend.

The artist, who is a well-known drag queen, denies robbing a customer of a large sum of money. The incident is said to have been caught on camera. Bryan can be seen collecting money on video from the event, although it’s not obvious how much.

TMZ reports that the participant in season 1 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” insisted that he, under no circumstances, took the significant sum Meggy is alleging. As for the actual charge, Meggy laid out the details in a popular TikTok video, saying Bryan was searching the room for a handbag gag when he finally found hers, which had $1,300 for her birthday celebration.

Meggy claimed Bryan rummaged through her suitcase and removed a substantial amount of cash. When she confronted him about it, he allegedly booted her from the show without returning the money. Bryan confessed stealing some cash, but claimed it was only a few dollars as a joke rather than hundreds as Meggy stated.

He claimed that although the venue’s management promised to pay the woman $700 as a sincere apology and refunded her tickets, it wasn’t enough. Meggy claims to have reported the claimed theft to the police, but according to a spokeswoman for the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, there is no record of the occurrence. Bryan vowed never to handle an audience member’s possessions again. Check out the videos below.
