Jake Paul is a social media personality and professional boxer. Paul can knock out a few people in the boxing ring, but making contact in the batter’s box is a much more difficult task for him. He recently whiffed badly during batting practice at a Marlins game.

Before the Marlins’ game against the Padres on Tuesday, Jake Paul took batting practice on the field at LoanDepot Park in Miami. He was the honored guest at LoanDepot Park before the home team hosted the San Diego Padres. He went to the batter’s box before his ceremonial first pitch to take some swings.

25-year-old Paul appeared confident before his first swing, even calling his shot like Babe Ruth. However, things didn’t always go as planned. Paul whiffed not only his first pitch but also the next three that followed before finally hitting a grounder to third base.

Jake was clearly having a good time with it. He later claimed that the video had been edited to make him look bad. Even though he couldn’t hit a real dinger, the team gave Jake a toy bat to show off his home run celebration, and he naturally hit the griddy.

Paul eventually took the mound for the first pitch, which was a solid toss despite being several feet in front of the mound. Paul appeared to have a great time at the game as he also got to try out some smelling salts in the dugout.

Jake knows how to put on a show, whether in the ring or on the diamond. Let’s see what else he has in store for us. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
