D.L. Hughley is one of the industry’s most controversial artists, never afraid to speak his mind. D.L. Hughley traded blows in controversies last few months, but then he went silent. Hughley appears to be getting involved in more debates again. Recently, an irate pastor challenged D.L. Hughley to a million-dollar boxing match.

D.L. Hughley has avoided controversy since the debacle involving Mo’Nique. The world watched as his working relationship with Mo’Nique frayed as she pursued the Kings of Comedy legend over a contract dispute. She criticized his sexual relationship with his wife and later stated that his daughter had been sexually abused.

Hughley’s response resulted in a public argument that prompted their mutual friends to speak up, and after battle lines were drawn, apologies were issued. Hughley appeared to be facing another adversary these days, Bishop Lamor Whitehead. If fans don’t know who this is, he’s the pastor who recently went viral after claiming he was robbed while preaching.

Whitehead posted a video of himself in which he appeared to have just finished an interview with Hughley that went left. Whitehead even added that Hughley needed the ratings before challenging the comedian to a boxing match.

“Wait ’til y’all hear this interview. I’m sitting there like, ‘Yo, bro. Brotha. Yo, I actually like you. I watch your movies. You know? And he was [screams] like a little girl! [scream] Like a little chihuahua!”

Hughley reacted by mocking Whitehead for apparently spitting while speaking in the video and implying that the pastor was a con artist. Hughley was called a “punk” by Whitehead in response. Let’s see if this turns into a debate or whether this topic ends here. Until then, stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
