Eric Roberts & Eliza Roberts Have Scary Confrontation With Home Intruder

Eric Roberts’ career started with a leading role in King of the Gypsies, for which he was nominated for his first Golden Globe Award. Eliza and Eric have been married since August 16th, 1992. Eric and Eliza recently encountered a frightening intruder who escaped into the darkness.

Eric and Eliza Roberts had a terrifying encounter with an intruder who reportedly targeted her as she walked up her driveway late at night. Eliza said her daughter drove her to her San Fernando Valley home at 9 p.m. on Friday. Eliza got out of her car at the curb, said goodbye to her daughter, and entered the code on her security gate.

According to TMZ, she said the security gate opened and she walked up the long driveway to the home. Just as Eliza entered, Eric stepped outside and came face to face with the intruder, who was only a few steps from the front door. The man glanced at Eric and said, “I know you” probably because the man recognized Eric from his film work.

Eric was taken aback and inquired as to why the guy was there. When the man didn’t respond clearly, Eric became alarmed and told him to beat it. The man returned down the driveway in the dark, and Eric went inside. He and Eliza then realized the man may still be hiding in the bushes and called the cops.
