10th Movie In ‘Saw’ Franchise Is Coming Next Halloween

The Saw franchise has terrified horror fans all around the world for over two decades. What began as a film about a gruesome, calculated, murderous game has evolved into one of the most popular horror franchises in entertainment history. The producers of the horror franchise recently issued a statement on the upcoming picture, and a returning director has been named.

Tobin Bell plays Jigsaw masterfully, and while it is uncertain if he will return, Bloody Disgusting exclusively reports that the next Saw film will be released next year. The outlet stated that the film’s tenth installment would be directed by someone familiar with the franchise.

Kevin Greutert reportedly directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter in 2009. He also edited Jigsaw and Saws I through V. He will supposedly return behind the camera again this time.

The details of the storyline are still unknown at this time. It has been stated that Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate are working hard to ensure that this one takes over the Halloween season of 2023. Spiral: From the Book of Saw was another successful addition to the ongoing frightening franchise last year, so it would be interesting to see how they celebrate over two decades of its reign.

The Saw franchise’s producers, Mark Burg and Oren Koules, reportedly told the outlet that they have heard what the fans have been asking for.

“We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love. And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI, which is still one of the fans’ favorites in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon.”
