Taylor Swift has been in the musician’s lane ever since she started her career. However, the star could potentially be in a race to win an Oscar award. Her 14-minute short film, ‘All Too Well’ qualifies for being considered for an Oscar.

All Too Well‘ is an extended film, functioning partly as a music video. It features Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien. The Hollywood Reporter reveals that it’s eligible for getting an Academy Award nomination, and could land it in the Best Live Action Short category.

Taylor Swift apparently wants the Oscars nomination. The outlet further revealed that she is consulting with a firm along with her team, which means she wants to be in the race, to begin with.

The video went through extensive shooting. Upon its release, it received a screening at the AMC theater in Lincoln Square for a week. This added to the eligibility criteria of the film.

Taylor Swift could be in the race for another Oscar nomination as well, as she worked on a song for ‘Where the Crawdads Sing.’ However, that may or may not happen. Swift previously suggested that she may be turning towards films during a Tribeca Film Festival Q&A. It seems she will finally crack the EGOT list.
