Jay Cutler Reacts To Kristin Cavallari Calling Their Marriage ‘Toxic’

Former Hills star Kristin Cavallari and the ex Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler tied the knot in June 2013, but their marriage didn’t go off without a hitch. Cavallari and Cutler met in 2010 after Giuliana Rancic, who lived in Chicago at the time, introduced the pair. Cutler recently reacted to Cavallari calling their marriage ‘toxic.’

The former NFL quarterback recently appeared for an interview on “Sofia with an F.” The podcast host Sofia Franklin asked him if he had anything to say about his ex’s remarks. Cutler said that Kristin Cavallari’s recent statements about their marriage were “comical.”

I’ve kind of steered clear of all of that. If she wants to say stuff, she can say stuff. I’m not going to go down that road about her. I mean, she’s still the mother of my kids.

The 35-year-old “Hills” star and Cutler, who were married from 2013 to 2020, have three children together: Saylor, Camden, and Jaxon. She discussed her marriage during an episode of the “Call Your Daddy” podcast earlier this month, disclosing that she had called off her engagement before they got married.

The former NFL quarterback wanted her to be a stay-at-home parent, which she blamed at the time so that she could “move on.” The creator of Uncommon James stated that she was very miserable and in a unhappy relationship, and that she left it in part because she didn’t want her children to think it was usual.
