Anne Heche was in a huge car crash. After crashing her car into a home, which then resulted in a massive fire, Heche suffered a lot of severe burns. While it was reported previously that she might be in a stable condition, the latest report from Deadline points to the contrary.

Heche’s condition is at a critical point, and she remains to be in a coma. A representative of the actress told Deadline that she is currently in an “extreme critical condition.”

Her rep revealed that the star needs an external mechanism for ventilation, as she has suffered a “significant pulmonary injury.” She also has burns that require surgery and hasn’t been conscious after she was taken into the ambulance.

At this time Anne is in extreme critical condition. She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention. She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident.

Heche’s condition even before the accident has people speculating a lot of things. A bottle of liquor was seen in her car when she crashed into a garage complex before the fiery incident. However, it was revealed that doctors couldn’t perform tests to decide whether she was under the influence or not given her condition at the time. We hope that Heche makes a speedy recovery.
