The acting world is saddened to learn about the passing of a true icon. Magnum P.I star Roger E. Mosley passed away at the age of 83. His cause of death was not disclosed to the public.

Mosley’s daughter, Ch-a, broke the news to the public that her legendary father is no longer with us. He leaves this world, but he also left behind a slew of treasured memories, as he was a beacon during a time when proper Black representation was scarce on American television.

“We could never mourn such an amazing man. He would HATE any crying done in his name. It is time to celebrate the legacy he left for us all. I love you daddy. You loved me too. My heart is heavy but I am strong. I will care for mommy, your love of almost 60 years. You raised me well and she is in good hands. Rest easy.”

Mosley played Theodore ‘TC’ Calvin in the first ‘Magnum’ series of the 1980s. His role was opposite to Tom Selleck. His character, and his helicopters, helped Magnum out of many jams.

After acting in all 158 episodes of Magnum P.I, Mosley also starred in other projects. Some of those include the Love Boat, Night Court, and Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.

Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this sad time of loss. RIP.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
