Joel Madden has to be one of the luckiest man in the world right now. Even his wife Nicole Richie is over the moon for her husband’s latest gig.

Being the lead vocalist for the pop punk band Good Charlotte, Joel Madden knows a thing or two about getting ink. He will now get to flex that artistic muscle a bit more on a very big stage.

Richie reacted to the news on social media that her husband is joining the cast of Ink Master on Paramount Plus. Richie even had some fun with her congrats to her beloved hubby on her Instagram story.

“I’m very excited to be joining on for the next season and chapter of @inkmaster on @paramountplus,” he wrote alongside a photoshoot snap. “can’t wait to get started with this crew @nikkohurtado @ryanashleymalarkey @amijames1

“proud and horny.”

Madden, who 43, and Richie, who is 40, were married on December 11th, 2010. They are also parents to daughter Harlow and 12-year-old son Sparrow. Madden’s twin Benji is also married to actress Cameron Diaz.

During an episode of the Anna Faris Is Unqualified podcast in September, Diaz discussed first meeting Benji through this brother and Nicole. Surprisingly, they weren’t set up.

“I met mine through my now sister-in-law and brother-in-law, I met them first, and then they didn’t set us up, but we were in the same room because of them, and then we found each other,” said Diaz.

Tattoo culture is mainstream now, so this is a big deal. We’ll have to see what’s next for Ink Master and everyone else involved, but it looks like the show is still going strong after many years on the air.
