DaBaby Laughed After DaniLeigh Played Him Songs From ‘My Side’ EP

DaniLeigh has always managed to get involved in controversy, in one way or the other. She has been receiving a lot of negative backlash for the “Yellow Bone” controversy. DaniLeigh also shared what DaBaby had to say about her latest songs.

DaniLeigh gave birth to a baby girl back in August 2021. Speculation ran rampant that DaBaby was the father. Eventually, DaBaby seemingly confirmed everyone’s suspicion as well.

DaBaby and DaniLeigh were involved in a very heated argument that took place on Instagram last year. A seemingly normal argument ended with DaBaby calling the cops on DaniLeigh.

DaniLeigh and DaBaby are no longer romantically involved in any way, and due to this DaniLeigh went through a very public meltdown. She is back to making music now as she released her latest EP ”My Side.” It chronicles the various ups and downs of their relationship.

While speaking to Big Boy’s Neighborhood in Los Angeles, DaniLeigh revealed that she did contact DaBaby before dropping the EP. The singer revealed that DaBaby simply laughed after listening to a couple of songs.

“I played him two records,” she said. “‘Cause I felt like I kinda had to.” Big Boy wanted to know which songs were previewed. “‘Cap’ and ‘Call Me Out My Name,’ ’cause those are the most deepest ones…’Cap’ I’m angry.

I mean, he’s not a softy so he kinda like, laughed when I was like, ‘Keep your ho ass where you at.’ You know what I mean?”

DaniLeigh added that she felt “better” that she decided to play the tracks for him, saying that the remainder of EP was more “gentle. She also previously hinted at having a new name in her life. She is happy in life right now and that’s all that matters in the end.
