Sydney Sweeney has become one of the most recognizable stars on television. She has starred in huge hits such as the controversial HBO smash ‘Euphoria.’ Sydney recently said that even with all the success, she’s not in a position to take a break any time soon.

Sweeney was interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter, where she touched on several topics. One of them was the potential to become a young mother. Sydney went to Amy Adams for advice and was told that it was possible.

Despite that advice, Sydney Sweeney isn’t so sure. She summed up her earnings, and it’s not as much as many would think. After paying management, lawyers, and publicists, there isn’t much left to play around with.

“If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don’t have income to cover that,” she says. “I don’t have someone supporting me, I don’t have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help. They don’t pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals.

The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that’s more than my mortgage. If I just acted, I wouldn’t be able to afford my life in L.A. I take deals because I have to.”

Sydney Sweeney is speaking up about what she believes is a tough life as a Hollywood actor. The payouts are not the same as in the old days when stars could pick and choose when they wanted to work and live off of residuals. That’s great news for fans who want to see more of her, but not so great for the actors who have to keep grinding it out with little time for a break.
