The Roast of Ric Flair will kick off a weekend-long celebration of one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Ric Flair’s final match will take place on July 31 as he teams with Andrade El Idolo to take on Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in Nashville. Before the carnage in the ring, Flair and some friends are set to have a lighter moment with some good, old-fashioned insult comedy.

Mike Tyson was originally planned to be a the event. Iron Mike and Ric Flair are friends and also business partners. Unfortunately, Mike pulled out shortly after being announced for the roast.

Now, another roaster has announced that he has to back out. Comedian Corey Ryan Forrester will be unable to make it to the event. He recently tested positive for COVID-19.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I must pull out of The Roast of Ric Flair. I have tested positive for COVID and need to put the safety of my peers and the fans first.

This is a HUGE bummer, and I’m sorry to everyone I’ve let down. Y’all have double fun at Starrcast for me!”

Once all the jokes are finished, Ric Flair will walk that aisle one more time. He has promised that this going to be the absolute last time he steps into the squared circle. Unfortunately, Corey won’t be able to make it, but there will surely be plenty of others with some harsh but hilarious words for Ric.
