Shawn Mendes has been dealing with some mental health problems, and he’s had his fans worried. After announcing that he hadn’t been doing good on the road, Mendes told fans that he would be taking a break from his world tour. Mendes has now cancelled the remaining dates of his “Wonder: The World Tour” to concentrate on his mental health.

Only seven of the 87 scheduled performances by Mendes throughout the US, UK, and Europe have been completed. The European and British performances weren’t supposed to start until June 2023. Mendes informed his followers in an Instagram post that he “wasn’t prepared for the toll that being back on the road would take” on him.

After speaking with my team and working with an incredible group of health professionals, it has become more clear that I need to take the time I’ve never taken personally, to ground myself and come back stronger. It breaks my heart to tell you this but but I promise I will be back as soon as I’ve taken the right time to heal.

The announcement comes a few weeks after the Grammy winner revealed he was postponing the tour to heal and take care of himself and his mental health. Mendes shared with his fans in April of this year that he was overwhelmed and overstimulated. Mendes was also seen enjoying his day out at the Santa Monica beach, and he seemed like he has been recovering well.

Mendes is super rich and can score a 10 any day of the week. People would do anything to be in his shoes. It’s really concerning to see someone as successful as him cancelling tours due to mental struggles. Check out his post below.
