Marvel fans have been waiting for the latest installment in the ‘Avengers’ saga since the epic conclusion of 2019’s ‘Endgame.’ The series has been the most popular in the MCU, and with good reason. The star-studded superhero ensemble franchise will once again return in 2025.

There are some other movies set to release in the Marvel universe before the next two Avengers films. However, fans are starving for more action from Marvel’s most popular super team. Now that the next two Avengers movies have been announced, the next step was finding the perfect director.

A report in The Hollywood Insider noted that Marvel has found their man. Destin Daniel Cretton will helm the upcoming Avengers project. He previously directed ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.’ He will now direct ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.’

Cretton has a deal with Marvel that was signed after Shang-Chi became a huge success. As part of the agreement, he is developing a live-action Wonder Man series. The director has some serious superhero bona fides.
