Russell Westbrook’s skills as a professional basketball player speak for themselves. This is because he is a nine-time NBA All-Star and earned the NBA Most Valuable Player Award for the 2016–17 season. It seems Westbrook and James just won’t gel anymore.

Westbrook was acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers earlier last year and there were a lot of expectations from him. For many fans, he simply did not live up to expectations.

The Los Angeles Lakers had an abysmal performance last season and a lot of the blame was put on Russell Westbrook as well. Jame was even the driving force behind the Lakers signing Westbrook.

According to Dave McMenamin, LeBron James is done with Russell Westbrook. While speaking on ESPN’s The Lowe Post podcast, McMenamin stated that James wants to move on from Westbrook.

“It’s pretty darn clear that LeBron has seen enough and he has no interest going into another year with Russ as his teammate.”

LeBron James also recently called out Boston Celtics fans for being extremely racist. We will have to wait and see whether the Lakers will have a better time in the upcoming season.
