The life of a rapper has its pros and cons, as it is never smooth sailing for anyone in the world of Hip-Hop. While there is certainly a lot of money and fame that comes with being a rapper, there is also the risk of gang warfare that ends in their deaths.

Lil Tjay underwent emergency surgery after he was shot last month in Edgewater, New Jersey. Fans were worried about his well-being, but thankfully, he pulled through.

The rapper’s alleged shooter, 27-year-old Mohamed Konate, was arrested on Friday, July 22nd, and is currently being held at Rikers Island. He is currently being held without bond as he awaits to see a judge.

According to investigators, an associate helped Konate to a BMW after the shooting. He was then dropped off at Lennox Hill Hospital on Park Avenue in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. For his part, Konate has been charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder, and his two associates have been hit with second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

That being said, Lil Tjay is seeing a few stories surface about him that some might not expect.

On Reddit, a screenshot from his “F.N” music video was shared. The user asked whether Lil Tjay truly shot and killed someone, making the story of the song’s music video true.

The YouTube user, named Jim Jim, wrote, “The story is lilt jay killed someone and his homie snitched on the whole gang, when the snitch was getting ready for a date lilt jays homie shot the snitch, later Tjay and the gang got released since there was no witness.”

Tjay is recovering from a terrible shooting, and we’re hoping for the best. He still has many songs to sing, and we will have to see if he addresses this rumor that could be an instance of self-snitching in his own hit song.
