Boosie Badazz started rapping in the 90s as a member of the hip-hop collective. He would go on to release seven studio albums and 42 mixtapes. The rapper recently sat down to discuss his interaction with another rapper, Kodak Black. Apparently, Boosie didn’t want the Super Gremlin around his prom.

During his sit down interview with Vlad TV, Boosie discussed throwing an adult prom and responding to Black on social media about wanting to collaborate at the event. Despite Black claiming in was his idea, Boosie said that the two just couldn’t work out an agreement.

We kept going back and forth. I wanted him to do something for me, and we just couldn’t come to an agreement at the end.

I have already started my prom. Everything was coming together, and we just couldn’t come to an agreement. I don’t like to put money involved with somebody, ideally. Especially an artist who’s at a top level. I never put money involved. It’s just a favor for a favor.

Boosie revealed that he never went to prom when he was young. The southern hip-hop artist claimed that proms were for “simps.” Now, he’s creating his own prom in the way that he likes it.
