Update: A spokesperson for Snoop Dogg reached out to Thirsty and provided the following official statement on these allegations:

“The complaint refiled today against Snoop Dogg by “Jane Doe” and her attorney is meritless. It follows Jane Doe’s attorney’s voluntarily dismissing just a few months ago her previous complaint on the alleged matter. He also dismissed an earlier complaint – this is the third try.

As before, this refiled complaint is riddled with and predicated upon falsehoods and inaccuracies. Moreover, as Jane Doe and her attorney know or should know, Jane Doe has never been Snoop Dogg’s employee.

In March 2022, the plaintiff and her attorney were served with a motion to dismiss by legal counsel for Snoop Dogg. That motion made clear to Jane Doe and her attorney the false nature of Jane Doe’s allegations against Snoop Dogg. Jane Doe’s attorney then in April 2022 asked the court to dismiss his client’s complaint.

Snoop Dogg looks forward to proving the falsity of these allegations.”

Original: Snoop Dogg was facing some very serious allegations earlier this year. The Compton rapper was accused of sexual assault after an incident following a 2013 performance in Anaheim, California. That lawsuit was dropped after Snoop called it an extortion attempt.

Things seemed to be back on track for Snoop Dogg. Now, the original accuser has revived their lawsuit. They are alleging that in addition to the original sexual assault claims that Snoop also defamed them, according to Rolling Stone.

In the suit, the woman claims that Snoop Dogg had intentions to “threaten, intimidate, and coerce her into not exercising her constitutional rights to engage in a mediation.” In layman’s terms, she says Snoop was threatening her over the initial legal action.

The newly-revived lawsuit says that Snoop wanted to pursue a malicious prosecution against the alleged victim. That potential action would have been valued, she says, at tens of millions of dollars. Snoop is also accused of giving his spokesperson permission to reveal her identity.

In the initial claim, the plaintiff said that Snoop Dogg associate Bishop Don “Magic” Juan gave her a ride home after the 2013 show. Then, he forced his penis into her mouth. Afterward, she was taken to Snoop’s studio for an audition, where Snoop assaulted her while sitting on the toilet.

Snoop Dogg’s legal team contends that there are no supporting facts to merit a lawsuit. The accuser claims they only dropped the case because of threats and intimidation. It will be interesting to see if a judge allows the suit to go forward.
