Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021 and were engaged after a roller-coaster journey in their lives. The pair finally got married in a fun and relaxed ceremony at the renowned A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. In a strange coincidence, Affleck listed his date of divorce from Jennifer Garner as exactly nine years to the day that he married J. Lo.
Us Weekly reported on Tuesday that the “Deep Water” star wrote in an affidavit of application for a marriage license on July 16th, 2022, that he and the “Alias” alum divorced on July 16th, 2013. However, Affleck, who is 49, and Garner, who is 50, did not announce that they were separating until June 2015 and did not file for divorce until April 2017. They finalized their divorce less than a year later in October 2018.
Lopez, meanwhile, reportedly listed her date of divorce from ex Marc Anthony as July 1st, 2011, but they did not finalize the case until June 2014. The “Marry Me” star, who is 52, shares 14-year-old twins Max and Emme with Anthony, who is 53, while Affleck co-parents Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel 10, with Garner.
Ben and Jen exchanged vows in Sin City early on Saturday morning. After hearing the news, Jen uploaded a number of images from the event, some of which featured their children. It was still Jennifer’s fantasy wedding, even if she acknowledged that they had planned to be married by an Elvis impersonator who wasn’t available at the time.
As we reported, even though Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck chose a low-key wedding ceremony in Las Vegas, they’re still going all out with a lavish private celebration to commemorate their union. A sizable party will be held in the coming weeks at a residence Ben owns in the Georgia seaside town of Riceboro. Stay tuned to Thirsty for further updates.
