Kodak Black’s Lawyer Claims His Pain Pills Were Prescribed After He Was Shot

Kodak Black is certainly one of the most controversial rappers in the hip-hop world. The Super Gremlin always manages to get into trouble no matter what he does. His lawyer also made a claim about his pain pills recently.

The rapper is known to do questionable things from time to time, drawing many people’s ire. That is not all, as Kodak Black has managed to get into trouble with the law.

As previously reported, recently, Kodak Black was arrested at a Florida traffic stop. This is because police officers found 31 oxycodone pills and $74,960 in cash during the search.

While speaking to TMZ, Kodak’s lawyer Bradford Cohen stated that Black has battled chronic pain after getting shot in February during a scuffle in L.A. over Super Bowl weekend. This is why he has been using oxycodone pills.

Cohen added that he has handed over proof to prosecutors that the pills were legally prescribed so that the issue can be resolved as soon as possible. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing story.
