Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021 and were engaged after a rollercoaster journey in their lives. The pair finally got married in a fun and relaxed ceremony at the renowned A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Jennifer Lopez’s mom also thinks that Ben is her daughter’s “true love.”

Ben Affleck has now earned the badge of approval from Jennifer Lopez’s mom, Guadalupe “Lupe” Rodríguez. Sunny Hostin recently discussed the reunited pair’s Las Vegas marriage on the July 18 episode of “The View.” She revealed that Lupe has always said that Affleck is J L’s true love.

I knew they would get back together. I knew that they were in love. I’ve spoken to her mother, Lupe, about it. Lupe has always said that Ben is her true love. They’re gonna live happily ever after, and that’s why she took his last name and she loves him. And that is it. This is it for her. She should have married him the first time.

The 53-year-old Hostin proceeded by assuring her fellow hosts that Lopez and Affleck’s love is going to last forever. The marriage license for Lopez and Affleck, which was submitted on July 16, was obtained by Page Six. The marriage was then verified by the “Hustlers” actress herself in the July 17 issue of her “On The JLo” newsletter.

Affleck met Lopez first on the set of “Gigli” in 2001 while she was still wed to her second husband, Cris Judd. A year later, they got engaged, but they broke it off in 2004. They reconnected in April 2021, sending fans into a frenzy after they had both married and had children of their own, with Marc Anthony and Jennifer Garner, respectively. The second time they got engaged was in April 2022 and finally got married.
