Honey Boo Boo Will Have $13K Weight Loss Surgery After Her 17th Birthday

Honey Boo Boo made a name for herself as a child star in the reality TV series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Real name, Alana Thompson, she also doesn’t have the best of lives, especially due to the lack of any real friends.

While speaking to TMZ, Alana Thompson’s manager stated that she will be making her way to New York City, Queens, in August. This is because she will have surgery to lose weight after her 17th birthday.

Boo Boo will be getting a suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve from weight loss doctor Steven Batash. It is estimated to cost around $13K. She decided to get the surgery because she’s currently 275 pounds, and wants to get down to 150.

It was said that she tried to have a healthy lifestyle over the past year but it has not given her the results she wanted. Alana’s worried the weight she’s put on is genetic and believes the surgery is the only way to go.

Alana’s boyfriend Dralin Carswell will also get the same procedure done for himself too, as it’s something they wanted to do together. We’ll have to see whether the surgery will help her out or not.
