Method Man Warns Against Rappers Signing To Other Artists’ Labels

Method Man is well known as a veteran member of the Wu-Tang Clan. The group is a global phenomenon, with its members having sold millions of albums, acted in several roles and also took part in numerous worldwide tours. He also explained why artists should not sign to other artists’ labels.

Method Man’s veteran status has helped him gain a lot of knowledge over the past several years. That is why whenever he says anything, most artists definitely take notice of him.

While speaking with Math Hoffa for My Expert Opinion, Method Man believes that young artists are better off not signing to labels owned by fellow artists. This is because their music will not be as important as the artist.

“I always felt like you can’t sign to somebody who still trying to be an artist. It’s hard. They can’t give you the time or attention that you probably need and deserve unless you are your own machine.
