Lil Durk is taking a break from social media. After a cryptic video was posted by the rapper on Sunday where he teased some new music, Durk deleted his Instagram account. He said that he would be coming back soon with something new.

In Durk’s post teasing new music, he could be seen dancing around to a clip from a new song. That came just weeks after the release of the deluxe edition of March’s ‘7220’ record. Lil Durk has some other projects in the works, as well. In his last video, he promised that fans would not be disappointed.

“Finna disappear for a minute. I’m deactivating my page at 8 o’clock, man. It’s over with. Gonna lock in and come back a thousand times stronger. Some monster sh*t. Every time I pop back up, it’s that. Really him”

A long-anticipated collaboration with Metro Boomin, ‘No Auto Durk,’ is due later this year. He has also hinted at a collab with Lil Baby on a joint project. Last year, they released ‘The Voice of the Heroes’ together.

There could be more to Lil Durk’s social media hiatus than meets the eye. There have been rumors that Durk and Lil Baby could be picked up by the Fulton County DA’s office on RICO charges soon. If that proves true, Durk might be trying to push out another record while he has time.

Lil Durk has been involved in plenty of shady dealings lately. He has been implicated in a murder and is believed to be involved in gang activity. Time will tell if that has anything to do with the strange posts Durk has made recently.
