Kylie Jenner recently showed off her and boyfriend Travis Scott’s private jets. Apparently, Kylie chose to fly absurdly short distances, which is a huge waste of energy. She is now being called a “climate criminal” for her actions.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are a power couple who often document their lavish life. Internet users criticized the pair for bragging about their wealth. Now, the beauty mogul is being criticized greatly for her blatant disregard of the environment.

Records show that Jenner’s jet recently took a 17-minute flight, which would have only been a 40-minute drive. The Twitter account @CelebJets posted Jenner’s plane route. This was after she flew from Camarillo, California, to Van Nuys, California, last Tuesday.

Three days after the quick flight, Kylie posted a black-and-white photo of her and Travis, posing in front of their private jets. “You wanna take mine or yours?” she captioned the Instagram post, Friday. Social media users slammed Kylie for not only bragging about her wealth, but also her blatant disregard for the environment.

Subsequently, she was called a “full time climate criminal.” across Twitter and Instagram. “Can’t wait to see Kylie Jenner post environmental awareness pics on her stories, as if she isn’t single-handedly doing more damage to the environment than most of us with her 3-min flights,” one Twitter user wrote. An Instagram comment asked, “Whos[e] plane should [use to] we pollute the earth today?”

First, the page posting Kylie’s flight details mentioned it was a three-minute flight. However, the page later clarified that the total flight time ended up being 17 minutes. Nevertheless, the flight was unnecessary as the destination was only a 40-minute drive away.
