Sylvester Stallone is known for his heartfelt portrayal of Rocky Balboa. The star’s iconic role held streamlined attention in the five movies of the series. Stallone was also part of Creed, a spin-off from the franchise featuring Michael B. Jordan as Apollo Creed’s son. There is much more going on behind the scenes.

Stallone seems to have a bone to pick with Rocky producer Irwin Winkler, a producer on both the Rocky and Creed franchises. His son, David Winkler is a producer on the two Creed films in the series.

The Hollywood legend took to Instagram and criticized David Winkler’s memoir The Arrangement: A Love Story. He went as far as to say that the memoir was “by far the worst” book he’d ever read.

Stallone seems to have it out for both father and son. He called the book “unbearable worthless dreck was written by the painfully untalented David Winkler.” He called Irwin Winkler a “remarkably untalented and parasitical Producer of Rocky and Creed.

You know I love reading and I’ve read thousands of books but I have to say THIS one is by far the worst! If you ever run out of toilet paper PLEASE by this one you won’t be disappointed. It’s very absorbent… This unbearable worthless dreck was written by the painfully untalented David Winkler who is the son of the remarkably untalented and parasitical Producer of Rocky and Creed , Even though I barely ever saw him around in all those years, the one and only Irwin Winkler and wife Margot. I really respected and LOVED his wonderful partner ROBERT CHARTOFF Who had real talent and SOUL, but unfortunately passed away much too soon……. If it wasn’t for Winkler there would’ve been at least another three Rocky’s , that would’ve been wonderful … frankly that crew are the worst unhunman beings I’ve ever met in the movie industry. I will forever love the loyal fans and keep punching.!!! REMEMBER IT FEELS GOOD TO CLEAR YOUR HEART …

The star showed love to Robert Chartoff, saying that he “respected and LOVED” the producer partner to Irwin. Chartoff was the producer for the Rocky franchise and also produced the first Creed film before passing away in 2015. We will have to see how this plays out, because there could be a lot more to the Rocky story.
