Simone Johnson adopted the ring name Ava Raine a couple of weeks ago. The Rock’s daughter is currently training to become a pro wrestler at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The fourth generation WWE superstar in the making cut a mean promo at an NXT live event last week.

Someone on the internet uploaded footage of the promo to social media. During the promo, Raine referred to herself as “The Final Girl,” and she also put up the name on her Twitter page. She sounded extremely confident and the crowd attentively listened to her.

The pro wrestler in training received criticism over her promo. She took to social media and clapped back at her critics in an amusing way. That being said, her training has been marred by a series of injuries. She underwent a third knee operation in September 2020.

She stated that her WWE ring name was Ava Raine in May, and WWE registered a trademark for it on May 13th. She has yet to make her in-ring debut on the yellow brand. We’ll have to wait and see what WWE has in store for Ava Raine. Keep reading Thirsty for more!
