Elon Musk has been having a rough go of it this week. Former US President Donald Trump has been basking in the glory of Musk’s deal to buy Twitter falling apart. A recent SpaceX rocket test resulted in an explosion. Things have been better for the billionaire Tesla boss.

One of Elon Musk’s greatest joys in life is trolling people online. He recently shared a meme once again blasting the “far left.” This time, he was making fun of them for having to choose between hating him and hating Trump.

The tweet was deleted briefly after it was posted. On Tuesday, The Donald spoke on his Truth Social platform about how Elon Musk came begging him for help to subsidize his various projects. Musk’s attempt to be neutral was quickly wiped from existence.

“When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it’s electric cars that don’t drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he’d be worthless, and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican, I could have said, ‘drop to your knees and beg,’ and he would have done it.”

Twitter is now suing Elon Musk to try and force him to go through with his $44 billion purchase of the company. Elon claims that Twitter failed to produce satisfactory proof of how many of the site’s users are real people and how many are bots. A very interesting legal battle will now take place.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are cut from the same cloth. Perhaps that is why they are unable to get along now that Musk has declared himself a Republican. Their ongoing feud is likely to heat up even more as two of the most self-important public figures in the world continue to go at it.
