Ana de Armas is certainly one of the most popular and in-demand actresses in all of Hollywood right now. She has acted in several films and raised her stock with each of them. She also left Los Angeles due to the horrible media attention she got from her romance with Ben Affleck.
While speaking in Elle’s August 2022 cover story, Ana de Armas revealed that the constant media attention her relationship with Ben Affleck got was so “horrible” that it made her leave Los Angeles.
Ana de Armas, who lived in Los Angeles for seven years, saw how her friends had to bear public attention. She realized it was too much for her and had to leave in the end.
“This is not the place for me to be. It became a little bit too much. There’s no escape. There’s no way out.”
She added that the city kept her “anxious” because in LA there is “always the feeling of something that you don’t have, something missing.” Armas and Affleck dated during the COVID-19 pandemic and were even quarantined together.
Armas and Affleck ended their relationship back in January of last year after being together for almost a year. The two would go their separate ways after splitting up and are focusing on their lives since then.
