It was reported late last month that former MMA fighter Valerie Loureda had signed with WWE. The 23-year-old has stated that she planned on moving to Orlando to start training at the WWE Performance Center on July 19. Well, it appears she’s getting a bit of a head start.

Loureda posted a photo on Twitter of her potentially heading to the Performance Center. The photo includes a one-word caption, which says “Medicals,” followed by a checkmark. The photo also consists of the caption below that says “WWE Performance Center” with a destination icon next to it.

The former MMA fighter has stated that she’ll remain under contract with Bellator while also being a full-time WWE athlete. When asked during an interview with ESPN about why she signed with WWE, Loureda said that the promotion’s atmosphere and glamour interested her.

I’m an entertainer. I love glamour. I love production, I love storytelling. And when I saw the WWE, I realized this is everything I’m good at in one place. Not only that, but I saw the opportunity to be the first Cuban American woman to be a WWE superstar.

Loureda will join other former MMA/UFC athletes such as Ronda Rousey and Riddle, who made the transition over to WWE. Loureda said that she attended WrestleMania earlier this year, so perhaps she got a bit of a taste of the glamour and atmosphere of the company. Only time will tell whether Loureda has what it takes to make a successful transition into becoming a WWE superstar.
