The Great Khali was at one point one of the most feared superstars in all of WWE. Since stepping away from the squared circle, Khali has become something of a far-right nationalist politician in his native India. A recent incident involving a toll booth worker has gone viral after Khali got physical when asked for a selfie.

According to the Indian English-language newspaper The Tribune, Khali was traveling on a toll road in Ludhiana. The two got into a heated argument after the former wrestler was asked for a selfie. The Great Khali then slapped the worker.

After the slap, the toll employee asked Khali why he slapped him. Khali then accused the worker of blackmail. A barricade was then placed in front of Khali’s vehicle to keep him from leaving.

The Great Khali got out of his vehicle. He pushed away the barrier. A frantic toll plaza employee tried to stop the giant, but his efforts were fruitless.

Police then interviewed Khali and the toll worker. Neither appeared interested in filing charges. Khali went on to post an explanation on his Instagram account saying that the worker was looking for a selfie and treated him poorly.

You can see the video of the incident, which picks up after the slap, below. The Great Khali called the toll worker racist and said he treated him ruthlessly. Fans can watch the clip and judge for themselves.
