Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is a busy man in Hollywood. Not only does he own his own production company, Seven Bucks Production, but he’s involved with multiple projects as billion-dollar actor. Now, it appears The Rock look to add battling sharks to his busy schedule.

The Rock revealed on his Instagram that Seven Bucks Production has partnered with Discovery to bring fans a special edition of Shark Week. The actor also revealed that everything was filed in his home state of Hawaii and that the special will air on July 24th.

Honored to be your first ever @SharkWeek MASTER OF CEREMONIES.

Our @SevenBucksProd has partnered with @Discovery to bring you a VERY SPECIAL (and badass;) SHARK WEEK.

I filmed exclusively in my home state of HAWAII, these beautiful predator AUMAKUA (gods) are deeply revered & respected in our Polynesian culture.

The Rock’s next big outing will be in Warner Bros Discovery’s new DC film, Black Adam. The actor recently teased that an appearance by Superman may still be on the table. Until then, fans of The Rock will be happy to see him against some of the baddest sharks in the world.
