Chris Brown is one of the biggest stars in R&B. The singer has formerly criticized the media for covering only negative things about him, and never focusing on the positive. It turns out that the star doesn’t really need it, as his new album Breezy is seeing a lot of success regardless.

Breezy features artists such as Tory Lanez, Jack Harlow, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Wiz Kid, H.E.R., and more. The album’s success demanded a deluxe edition, which he released with 9 more songs than the album.

Chris Brown’s album might not be succeeding up to his mark, but he’s set a new record through it. While The Weeknd held the record for most hits on the Billboard Hot R&B chart, Brown has gained the upper hand by a large margin.

Brown holds the record for the most hits on the Hot R&B chart. While The Weeknd held the record with 71 Hot R&B chart-toppers, Chris Brown blew the record out of the water with a total of 79 chart-toppers.

Breezy landed Billboard No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, while getting the No. 2 position on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Meanwhile, Drake holds the third position with 56 chart-toppers, and Khalid is in the fourth position with 43 chart-toppers.
