Carlos Santana had a scary moment when he collapsed on stage due to heat exhaustion during a concert outside of Detroit. His wife took to social media to assure fans that Carlos was doing fine and feeling better. Originally, only one date of his tour was supposed to be postponed.

As Santana continues to recover, it looks like he will need a little more time to get back to 100%. After his hospitalization in Michigan, he was hoping to get right back on the road. Instead, he has now postponed six upcoming dates.

Santana was performing at Pine Knob Music Theater when he suddenly collapsed. Several people rushed to render aid to the guitar legend. Fortunately, he was able to be stabilized and quickly received treatment.

According to TMZ, Carlos Santana will postpone his scheduled concerts between July 8 and July 16. That includes shows in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, and Dallas. Santana’s representatives noted that the move was made out of an abundance of caution.

Carlos Santana is considered one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time. It is no wonder that his management team is being extra careful. Fans in the affected cities will have to wait a little while longer to see them, but Santana promises to make good on his scheduled shows.
