John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and was the face of WWE throughout the PG era. Since 2017 John Cena became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. He was also nominated for an award recently.

After 2015, John Cena starred in much better movies such as Trainwreck, Sisters, Blockers and Bumblebee. 2021 was arguably his best year as he acted in Fast & Furious and also in The Suicide Squad.

He also starred in Peacemaker this year, and it was a huge hit with fans and critics alike. The Hollywood Critics Association took to Twitter and announced that John Cena has been nominated for Best Actor in a Streaming Comedy Series due to his role in Peacemaker.

The nominees for Best Actor in a Streaming Comedy Series are: Jason Sudeikis, #TedLasso John Cena, #Peacemaker Keegan-Michael Key, #Schmigadoon Martin Short, #OnlyMurdersintheBuilding Nicholas Hoult, #TheGreat Rhys Darby, #OurFlagMeansDeath Sam Richardson, #TheAfterparty 1/2

John Cena will also star alongside Jackie Chan in Argyle and the live-action/animated Looney Tunes film Coyote vs. Acme. It remains to be seen whether Cena will end up winning the award for Best Actor or not.
