Amber Heard and Johnny Depp engaged in a six-week legal battle in April over her 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post, in which she claimed to have survived domestic abuse. Depp had sued her for $50 million. The jury decided that Heard’s claim was false and defamatory after hearing gruesome testimony and social media hysteria, and they awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.

Following her widely publicized loss in court in the defamation case against her ex-husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard is still receiving heat online as she is now the target of rumors that she would publish a “tell-all” book. After her recent legal disputes, rumors that the Aquaman star is working on a lucrative book deal have been floating online for weeks. OK! Magazine reported plans for the publication of a “gut-spilling revenge memoir.”

The thought of a book, according to a Radar article, has sparked a “frenzy in the publishing world,” with discussions apparently costing in the neighborhood of $15 million. Even though the existence of such a book has not been proved, such rumors have prompted further criticism of the actress, who is already under fire. Prior to publication, Newsweek contacted Heard’s reps to inquire about the veracity of the book rumors, but did not hear back.

TikTok creator Jahan Kalantar asked: “What kind of publisher would be stupid enough to go into business with someone who has just been found to be defamatory?”

One user commented: “I don’t know why ppl give her the light of day.”

Another added: “He can sue her again for defamation with all the lies that will be in the book. Witch just needs to move on.”

The criticism of Heard for a book that hasn’t yet been confirmed coincides with the actress receiving praise from Depp’s admirers for her physical attractiveness. Amber Heard and her attorneys have recently rushed back to court. She allegedly found an issue with one of the jurors who participated in her battle with her ex-husband Johnny Depp in a Virginia courtroom. Check out the tweets below.
