‘One Tree Hill’ Star Bevin Prince’s Husband Passes Away After Being Struck By Lightning

Bevin Prince married the love of her life back in 2016. The ‘One Tree Hill’ star was enjoying life after wrapping up her acting career over a decade ago. Sadly, her husband, Will Friend, passed away after a tragic lightning strike took his life.

Bevin and Will operated an open-aired cycling studio in Wilmington, North Carolina. The couple relocated to Wilmington at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic to find some peace and stability. Sadly, while visiting Masonboro island, Will was struck by lightning while boating during a storm. He was only 33 years old.

William Friend was the CEO of Bisnow. In addition to his time working with Bevin Prince at their fitness business, he was in the digital media business. Their fairy tale romance has now met a horrific ending.

Local NBC affiliate WCET noted that deputies performed CPR on Will Friend for around 20 minutes. Their efforts were not enough. Friend passed away at the scene.

Bisnow released a statement on the untimely passing of its CEO. They noted that Will was always up for a new challenge. His friends and colleagues rarely had a negative word to say.
