Nikki Bella is one of the most well-known faces from the world of WWE. The WWE Hall of Famer decided to leave WWE and place her focus on her family. Bella is a mom, as she shares her son with fiancé Artem Chigvintsev, and she recently opened up about the biggest challenge she’s faced as a mother yet.

Bella told this story to her twin-sister and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella on the latest episode of The Bellas Podcast. Nikki Bella talked about an instance from their current trip together with their families at the Lake Tahoe.

Nikki Bella revealed that her son Matteo Artemovich contracted “a really bad stomach bug.” She said that her 23-month baby got the virus only a day and a half into the trip.

This has been the biggest challenge yet as a mom. It makes you so emotional and you break down. Like we’re having so much fun [on vacation], why did this have to happen? But to see your little one in so much pain, and you can’t do anything…

Brie Bella sympathized with her sister, and said that “you know it’s not gonna be the last time” with the children getting sick. She is also vacationing alongside her sister with her husband and AEW superstar Bryan Danielson and their two kids, Buddy Dessert and Birdie Joe.

Nikki Bella recently took to Instagram in order to reveal that her son is feeling better. She also revealed that it is the last day of their vacation, meaning things are going to go back to normal after Matteo’s recovery.
