Kevin Durant has carved out a special spot for himself in the game, everyone wants him on their team. The atmosphere has heated up as a result of Kevin’s trade news, and teams are now eager to sign him to their team. Even the Warriors appear to be interested in trading for Kevin Durant.
The Brooklyn Nets’ star Kevin Durant, who recently asked the franchise for a trade, is apparently a target for a number of teams, including the Golden State Warriors. Many are surprised by the revelation because Durant has had a notoriously tense relationship with the franchise ever since he left in 2019. The news comes from Marc J. Spears of Andscape, who uploaded a tweet on Sunday.
“It’s no surprise to me that Warriors have interest in Kevin Durant, according to sources. So does more more than half the league. It’s KEVIN DURANT. You better make the call if you’re an NBA GM. It’s KEVIN DURANT.”
Spears added that Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, Andrew Wiggins, and James Wiseman may all be on the table as players, the Warriors could be prepared to part with. Spears discussed how he thought the deal would play out on ESPN Radio.
“The one team I’m telling you guys to keep an eye on is the Golden State Warriors. Golden State could have the best package for both parties. Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, All-Star Andrew Wiggins, the former No. 2 pick James Wiseman. What the Nets want is a young All-Star and want perhaps a future All-Star. They’re all under 30. They also want picks, maybe the ability to swap picks. But if you can get those four players, if I’m the Nets, I’m very, very happy.”
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Durant prefers to play for the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns. Initially, Durant spent his time with the Warriors from 2016 until 2019. In 2017 and 2018, he helped the franchise win championships, but since departing Golden State, he hasn’t been able to help the Nets go past the regular season.
