Lizzo doesn’t hesitate to speak out against social injustices. The recently controversial Roe v. Wade ruling has left the nation in disarray. While numerous celebrities have spoken out against it, Lizzo, on the other side, is assisting women in every way she can.

On the Fourth of July, the 34-year-old singer announced on Instagram that all revenues from her Yitty brand from July 2 to the 4th will be given to promote ‘body autonomy.’ Her IG caption was very clear on what she intends to do.

@yitty 100% OF NET PROCEEDS TO @abortionfunds ALL WEEKEND LONG. JULY 2-4. Celebrating freedom on our terms. Liberating Every Damn Body,

Lizzo made the announcement in a clip where she rocked a bodysuit of her own brand. She sported jean short and matched it with a red colored lipstick as well. In the video, she also spoke about her brand and how it promotes ‘body autonomy’

Yitty is all about body autonomy. You should be the only one who has a say on how you feel and what you do with your body. Celebrate your body’s independence with us by giving back to organizations who are fighting on the front line for body autonomy.

The singer launched her brand Yitty back in March this year. The brand recently received a new collection as well. With her project, Lizzo hopes to assist women by offering financial assistance in these times of national turmoil on women’s rights.
